All high contact, food preparation and hard wet surfaces are hygienically cleaned and sanitised and our linens are professionally laundered at 80ºC, with bed linens further ironed at 120ºC by one of New Zealand's leading laundry experts, leaving them crisp, clean & superbly comfortable!

Private Residence - This is a personal home, made available to guests on an occasional basis. This allows you access to a superb & well-equipped home with the trade-off that storage may be required for owner belongings.
Stairs - Stairs connect the entry & lower level bedrooms with the upper level living, kitchen, bedroom & bathroom level.
Check-in & Check-out
Check-in is possible anytime after 2pm or from noon where the option of early check-in has been purchased.
Early check-in (12pm/noon and in some cases earlier) can usually be offered for an additional charge. Please request this at the time of booking or at least 24 hours prior to your arrival.

We highly recommend City Views – our family with 2 kids stayed there for 10 weeks for the first school term. We appreciated our stay a lot. The house has been renovated very nicely; the kitchen is very well equipped. Being located slightly up the hill it offers an awesome view over the town and the sea. It has a nice terrace and garden as well. The location is highly recommended as it takes only a short walk to Nelson schools and into town as well as to the MaiTai river for a swim.

We were a group of five attending a conference in Nelson. The house is very clean, neat and comfortable. It is also very accessible to Nelson City center, restaurants, etc. which was an easy 10 - 15 minute walk, but at times we called a taxi if time was scarce. The deck and the view was an amazing feature of the house and a great place to catch up and unwind at the end of the day. Highly recommended for tourist stays or business stays.

A very comfortable house with fantastic views from both the sun drenched deck and the modern lounge/dining room which features massive sliding windows to the deck. It made for a very relaxed stay in which you could maximise the beautiful environment in which it is located. The house is decorated with some great art which added interest.

Great location and outlook, house is in safe location and close to mountain bike trails. Steep shared driveway, but worth the hike. Modern bathrooms and open lounge /dining space. We enjoyed our time and the location and layout of the house. Thanks a lot.

Things I liked: 1. Location: hillside residential neighborhood a 10 min walk to nearest coffee shop and pub...another 5 mins to Nelson CBD. The street up to house and the driveway to the house are super narrow. Best if your rental car is a small one! 2. View. Looking out over Nelson was nice from the living room and amble outdoor deck spaces. Hopefully the host will have the windows cleaned and the outdoor patios and furniture cleaned to enhance these key attributes Layout: good for families with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths (one in each floor) Living room was big and comfortable and took advantage of view. Kitchen was supplied above average, but could use better and more cooking utensils and bowls. WiFi: consistently good. Also liked having use of Netflix. Thinks I didn’t like: Guess I already described them.

It was a very nice property, everything was clean and well maintained. Bed was very comfortable. Awesome view and balcony/terrace to sit out on. We cancelled dinner plans one night to just sit and enjoy the view with a glass of wine and some snacks. Great location; we walked into downtown Nelson a couple nights for dinner.

Good location as it is possible to walk to town but you dont get those views without a climb! The house was incredibly well kitted out with the kitchen supplies as well as laundry powder etc so I was very impressed

Hi Jarrod We were very happy with the house - thank you. Loved the [much needed] electric blankets! The only gripe we had was with one of the pillows in the downstairs twin room - was pretty flat and didn't offer much support. Lovely spot up in the hills and enjoyed having the outdoor space. We loved the location. Super close to mountain biking trails and trail running areas. Be sure to walk to ‘the center of New Zealand. It’s super close and easy to do in an evening. We stayed here for 7 or 8 days. Loved the washer and dryer, the deck and the kitchen. If you rent a car (we didn’t) there is a spot to park right next to the front door. We ate in town. Super easy 10-15 minute walk into the center of town. We loved ‘The Kitchen.

Nicest place ever! Charming, modern, clean, peaceful and very very comfortable! Lots of lovely spaces including outdoor spaces. Great location, 10 minutes to walk into the heart of Nelson for our outings. It is very well equipped, we didn't want for anything. Easy access to shops in town. This is a gorgeous home and very easy to relax in and enjoy Nelson from. Thoroughly recommend it and if we are back in Nelson will definitely want to stay here!

Hi, Myself and some colleagues recently stayed at City Views property whilst attending the scientific conference and I just wanted to say thank you for the opportunity because it allowed us to experience beauty and serene nature of the city. We made sure to keep the house tidy, unfortunately we may have been a bit too scrupulous with our cleaning because we made our beds and hung up our towels. I just remembered this and thought to add a couple of lines with this information to help the preparation for the next guests. Once again many thanks the house was perfectly positioned and comfortable, my only regret is that I didn’t spend enough time there during the day to explore the garden or just bask in the sun.

Hi Jarrod and team, Thank you so much for an incredible stay. The home was a lot larger than we expected – it was just fantastic, with two living areas, a huge kitchen and dining area and generous sized bathrooms and bedrooms. It was far away enough from town that it was quiet and private, yet just a 5-10 minute walk along the river - is just gorgeous! The house was immaculate with great facilities and a wonderful outdoor area to relax in the sun. We will definitely be back.

Thank you for the opportunity to comment on our stay at 42 Cleveland Terrace. We felt privileged to stay in what felt like a family home. However, although it was comfortable and well equipped, we felt that there was too much 'stuff' in the house for a holiday home. This prevents it being given a thorough clean, and we felt it would benefit from the paintwork, cupboards, shelves, ceilings, behind beds and in drawers and corners being washed down and cleaned. And it was difficult to tell which cutlery, crockery and kitchen implements had recently been washed. The vacuum cleaner was very difficult to manoeuvre on the thick pile carpet. However, the bathrooms were very clean. Overall, we loved the house and its position and should love to stay again if we are lucky enough to revisit if we return to New Zealand, as we hope to do in Dec 2018.

Surprisingly close to the central city - just a 10min walk to some great eateries, shopping, the River &more. We LOVED the views through the tops of the enormous heritage trees of the city centre right out to the sea! City Views was well furnished, the beds were comfy, the bathrooms and overall presentation was amazing. Good job!

This was our first 'holiday home' experience and we're glad to report we really enjoyed ourselves! While we aren't able to compare the quality of other properties at this level we can say that we were impressed by the beautiful presentation and cleanliness of this great home. The location was perfect for us as we could explore the city and surrounds by foot and we even hired bikes for a day to venture as far as the waterfront and beach areas of the city! This is a beautiful property with wonderful service to back it up. We would describe the location as ideal for visitors to this fantastic little city!
