'Tipi Haere' means to roam about or call in at places - a name was chosen to welcome visitors to Nelson & this very special spot!
Nestled on Nelsons prestigious Princes Drive with sparkling sea & panoramic city views, this brand new, light-filled & architecturally inspired home offers every modern convenience.
Wonderfully cosy & tastefully furnished with excellent amenities, this home lends itself to relaxation & unwinding.
Enjoy open plan living with the fantastic flow to the top-deck BBQ & entertaining area or head down the steps to the private garden area below.
You'll love the great proximity to the beach as well as the city's theatres, galleries, shopping, restaurants & bars. All are within walking distance or a quick 3min. drive!

All utilities, linens & towels, use of all listed property amenities, pantry & sanitary basics, departure linen service & standard housekeeping up to 3 hours will be included in your booking.
Extra charges will apply where additional cleaning, BBQ or oven cleaning or excessive rubbish disposal is required.

Holiday Nelson uses quality linens & towels. These are 90º washed to ensure sanitation & all non-fitted sheets are pressed for your comfort.
At the end of your stay, a standard house-keep is included - allowing you to finish your stay with that relaxing holiday-feel intact.

Hi! We had a wonderful time at Tipi Haere. It was one of our favorite places we've stayed in NZ so far. We truly appreciate how well stocked, clean, and minimally designed this home was. We have found some vacation homes to be so cluttered with personal items that it makes it harder to feel at home. Not here. We settled in beautifully and would love to stay there again!

Would definitely recommend the accommodation - exceptionally clean and well appointed. Very hilly though so taxi/car advisable.the view of the town and mountains was better than expected.

Hi there The house is lovely, clean and well put together. The beds are super comfortable. Little items such as shower gel are much appreciated. One suggestion in the future would be having bikes at the house given the cycle trail in Nelson is so great. Thanks again Gracie

This home is exactly like the pictures, very beautiful, clean and well put together. Beds are extremely comfortable. The host pays attention to small details such as leaving shower gel for guests. I highly recommend

This was the nicest air bnb we have ever had. It was clean and beautifully appointed with new and modern furnishings and amenities, and the location and views could not be better. Sitting on the deck and in the living space we could see the hills behind and the water out front - and it was really easy to pop into town for the market or dinner. We made treks to Blenheim and the wine region, and up to Kaiteriteri and Abel Tasman- and found this the perfect centerpoint. Would highly recommend. Absolutely the best air bnb we have ever experienced in the family travel history ! Amazing place to stay in Nelson. Beautiful views both into town and out across the water. Great space to relax in, and lots of surprising little touches (like the espresso machine) that added up to a great stay. Definitely recommend. Thanks so much for the stay. Our plane was delayed so we didn't get a chance to take advantage of the complimentary early check-in, but the gesture was much appreciated. The house itself was great, and there were lots of great touches - nice speaker, serving platters, espresso machine etc.

Kia ora Robert, Sara and Jarrod. Thank you so much for your home for the 2 days we had in Nelson. We have had a few of our whanau move down to Nelson in the last few years and really wanted to catch up with them and meet a new addition to the whanau, my sisters 1st grandchild. it was also a birthday present for me. I turned 50 in April so my cousin shouted me a ticket to Nelson. We really enjoyed our stay. I love the house and I am also thinking that the design is perfect for me and my hubby. We are looking at building on our family block. The home is perfect for 2 of us as our kids are all grown up and moved away. its the ideal size. I really liked how it is compact but still good space for everything. We struggled a little to get the oven going and to keep the element hot while we cooked our porridge. I looked for a manual but didnt find one. I tried to find the manual on google but that wasnt much help. We did aright in the end :-) The location of the home was perfect!. the views of the Tasman is wonderful. It is close to the beach and restaurants. My niece works in The Sands restaurant and part time at the ocean lodge bar so we had dinner with her. We would certainly consider booking with you again in the future and recommend your home to other whanau too. Regards

A lovely house with stunning views into the valley (main view) and across the bay (through the lounge window). Perfectly designed, new and clean property. Must have a car as the location is at the top of a ridge, but worth it for the views. Some road noise as it's a frequently used suburban route, but that also makes it an easy 3min drive down the hill to town.

This place was exactly what we were looking for when visiting the north of the South Island. The space was modern and clean. Everything worked great and there were excellent amenities like a grill and a full kitchen that we were able to prepare a fantastic dinner in. The location was great for our trips to Marlborough wineries, Abel Tasman National Park and sunny Nelson. We went to Pic’s Peanut Butter for a tour just 10 minutes away. There is a terrific grocery store close by and taxi services in town. I sincerely hope we get back to Nelson and if we do, I would definitely stay here again. Highest recommendation!

Fabulous house with some of the most amazing views you will find in Nelson. Water views from the lounge and views right out across Nelson township from the bedrooms. House is super-modern, immaculately presented, very warm and has plenty of storage space which is great if you like to unpack a bit. Safe off-street parking and supermarket etc. just down the road. Would definitely recommend - and would stay here again if we return to Nelson.

Amazing place even better than in the pictures in my personal opinion. They had also a lot of practical things that we used for cooking and so on, which was really nice. Lastly the view was absolutely stunning!!!

Tipi Haere was my best house ever! Very good location, beautiful view both side, new and clean rooms very well equipped, in the kitchen you can find everything what you need for cooking and more in high quality. Best house in Nelson!

Perfect holiday home to make the most of a Nelson stay! This is a newly built house with all new furniture chosen with taste and attention to details in all elements of the design. The beds are super comfortable, the sunny deck is great to enjoy a cup of tea whilst looking at the boats passing through the harbour cut, and the living and kitchen space is perfect for cozy dinners at night. We walked to town for shopping and to the waterfront for dinner and it was a perfect 20ish minute walk each way.
