We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Selah Beach View and our time in Nelson. We particularly liked the master bedroom, the view from the property and the hot tub. Exceptional Views over Tasman Bay Tahuna Beach! Lovely home and suitable for 3 couples , all with own amenities, plus one room downstairs ( no bathroom). Plenty of seating. Exceptionally sunny in living areas and main bedroom. Wonderful to just sit on the decking and take in the views, and the activities on the water. Also close to walkway, ( a good workout), down to the beach. Recommend.

The home has a million dollar view of the Nelson beach area and the hot tub provided some relaxing moments after being out and active all day. The home was tidy and we had good response from the rental company on the few questions we had such as getting some more kitchen items. It had all the basics, but for people who want to cook in and entertain at home a few more items would be appreciated. Overall had a great time and found everyone accommodating and helpful.

For somewhere with expansive and ever-changing sea views, this lovely house excels. Well-equipped, and with many thoughtful touches, this house can accommodate an extended family or number of friends. It is a real privilege to stay in this home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely place with that amazing view - thank you. It provided a wonderful venue for our family reunion, with two of us from Australia and three from England. The three bedrooms and three bathrooms accommodated us beautifully and the well-equipped kitchen enabled the preparation of some memorable meals together

This is a lovely property with stunning views over Tahunanui Beach and beyond. The standard of decor and furniture in the house is very high, and the spa is a great touch. Would definitely stay again if in the Nelson region.

We had an amazing family time at Selah Beach View and are very happy with the service you provided. On the sunny days we had nice walks along the beach and on the rainy day it was cosy to stay inside. The property offers sufficient privacy for all guests, is well maintained, comes with all the necessary equipment, and has a cosy vibe to it. If we were to come back to Nelson, we would definitely consider this place again.

The house was extremely spacious with a great deck and stunning sea views. It suited us, as two couples, providing private accommodation and separate bathrooms in two wings of the property. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

This place was such a beautiful home with an amazing view. We felt that we were living in luxury while we were there. Master bedroom was huge with an amazing view as well. Bathrooms were clean and the master even had a double shower head which was cool. There was no AC in the house, but the windows opened largely and the place cooled off quickly. The hosts were quick to respond (I had accidently deleted my welcome letter with the key instructions, and they answered my phone call right away and sent me another copy immediately). Close to everything in Nelson. It was a great trip and wonderful home.

Beautiful house in a lovely location!

Lovely house with amazing views. About 10 mins drive from Nelson town centre and 10/15 min walk down to restaurants and the beach. We had a great weekend. The house was perfect for us.

We had a fantastic time at Selah. If we visit Nelson again it would be my first choice. It’s a great location, great views and a very nice property. Thanks Jarrod for fixing the BBQ and finding a corkscrew, and for attending to those issues promptly.

Mum and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property. The house has spectacular views out over the ocean, and is well equipped with everything you could need. There is a walking track next to the property down to the beachfront, and a lookout point immediately next to the house with views out over the bay. We really enjoyed our stay and the amazing views - would love to come back some day! Thank you so much for accommodating us at the last minute - we really appreciated it!

The property was amazing and perfect for a group with couples or a family, we were able to enjoy time together while also having plenty of space and privacy from one another. The first thing you see as you step in is the view! I could have spent my whole stay on that deck watching the tasman bay! But also the rest of the house is amazing, spacious and well equiped. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. We had a great time!

Lovely view of the ocean from the deck and spa. The bedrooms and living room were well-furnished and quite comfortable. Sara helped us check-in early and also had a handyman make sure the spa was in good working order in the afternoon before we came back to enjoy it that night. We really enjoyed our two nights here, thanks so much!

Outstanding view - one of the best available in the Nelson region - stunning unimpeded vista of the Tasman bay and Tahunanui beachfront. Lovely home, well appointed, and generously apportioned. If you have a need for 4 people or 4 couples staying somewhere, then this is an absolute option for you - spa on the deck, full kitchen, multiple bathrooms. Only a 5 minute drive into Nelson city. No regrets!!! Have added this to my 'first choice' list for future accommodation needs.

The views of the harbor from the Master bedroom and the very large living/dining room are indescribable. The wide terrace with its large umbrella table makes you feel as though you are sitting on top of the world. It is a ten minute walk to the Nelson beach and a few minutes drive to Nelson city center or restaurants that line the harbour. We were two couples who enjoyed each couple having queen rooms with ensuite bathrooms.

Hi Peta-Jane & Jarrod, We really hated to leave Nelson and the beautiful weather but are now back home in Calgary. We really enjoyed the house with the awesome views and only had a couple of minor comments. The comforters were too warm for summer and we couldn't find the beach towels. I wanted to let you know that the oven worked well a couple of times but we could not get it to work the last time we tried. Thanks for everything! Cheers, Tom and Mona

My husband and 3 young children and I enjoyed our stay there so much we vow we will be back.

Really enjoyed our stay here, would like to come back again in the future. Jarrod very helpful getting us booked with initial difficulties of our length of stay and dates so appreciate that. Also helpful chasing up stuff we left behind. Have fed back a couple of small things already but this is more for info than any problem per se :-)

We very much enjoyed our stay and the home is really very beautiful and comfortable. The views are spectacular from the deck as well as the main bedroom. We didn’t have a car so the walk up the hill was a bit of a challenge but definitely worth the effort once you arrived.

We had a fantastic stay at Selah beach view. The house is amazing beautifully presented. The view is outstanding simply out of this world. The master bedroom with its amazing bathroom and unbeatable view is world class in my opinion. The location is close to the beach and all amenities. I did have to call on Jared as a fuse had blown and to was not working nothing major at all and he was there in 10 minutes to sort it. A very nice person to deal with. The booking process from start to finish was straight forward, nothing was any trouble. I would highly recommend using the services of Jared and Peta- Jane. And highly recommend staying at Selah beach views you won't be disappointed. I only hope I get to stay there again sometime.

Hello Loved the accomodation and would highly recommend. Had everything we needed which was great. Except a great addition would be heated towel rail in the main bedroom when trying to dry towels when using them for spa and shower etc Will def return! Thanks

Thank you for sharing your house with us thru Air BnB . We walked thru the front door and were wowed by the view- sensational ! We really appreciated how well the house was appointed. We were extremely comfortable.

Well, after some delays with ANZ flights in Nelson and Auckland which further snowballed things at LAX, we finally made it home to the US after about 34 hours of travel. We arrived home to below freezing temps and a snowstorm, both which certainly signaled that our vacation was over. However, our weather here nor the travel problems from there diminished the wonderful holiday which our family had in Tahiti, Bora Bora and of course, New Zealand. I had been to Tahiti before so I knew what to expect. We had no idea what to expect for New Zealand but any expectations were vastly exceeded. What a beautiful country, great people, great culture, great behaviors, great infrastructure. You may know we started in Queenstown and worked our way North to Nelson. The southland was stunningly beautiful, Lake Wakupitu, Lake Anu, Milford Sound, Paradise Valley. Then we did the Tranzalpine train from Christchurch to Greymouth and drove up the coastal road on our way north. Our stay in Nelson was perfect, thanks in part to the quality and location of the home rental we arranged with you. The home was perfect for our family of mom and dad and three adult daughters in that it had 4 bedrooms and (I think) three baths (I never counted them!). We found the home immaculately clean, tastefully furnished and well equipped for anything an occupant may want to do. The awesome views from the master bedroom and the deck were of the beach, Tasman Sea and distant mountains of Abel Tasman. Understand that we used the home as our “base of operations”; we basically slept there and only cooked AM coffee, tea and toast and had all other meals out. But the full kitchen, BBQ and other amenities were certainly nice options that we considered using but Mrs O doesn't cook on vacation. And Mr O didn't feel like it. The spaciousness allowed we five to spread out after stays in hotel room after hotel room up to that point. The home was in a great location with the beach very nearby and only a short drive to Nelson and Richmond and the airport. Proximity to Able Tasman NP was a plus. We went to Nelson almost every day to walk around and have meals, shop etc., and found it to be a darling little town. We just don't have bustling little central business districts like that left very many places in the US with tree lined streets, sidewalk cafes, art galleries, museums sights like and the Founders venue and centre of NZ walk all in a compact little area. Plus boutique after boutique those have gone the way of the suburban mega-malls and big box stores where we come from. We just loved Nelson. And, the weather was almost perfect for most of every day. We spent a day in Abel Tasman with the Wilsons operation and had them arrange a private guided kayak and hiking tour for us. We could spend days just in the forest trails and on the beaches of Abel Tasman. There was more we would have done if we had more time; like winery tours and more art and craft galleries and maybe would have arranged fly fishing in Nelson Lakes. So, with those things left undone, we may require a trip or two back. If that is the case, we will certainly contact you for assistance with a home again. Know that we enjoyed New Zealand so much, we actually started thinking through the logistics of wintering there instead of in Florida. The weather is better and the days are longer. We have given thought to investigating a stay from mid-Jan through Mid- April next year or 2017 possibly. If that thinking doesn't wear off as the memories subside, we may contact you for advice on how it may be best to do that. For now, thanks for handling our accommodation arrangements for what turned out to be a fabulous part of our vacation. You made it easy and the property exceeded our expectations. The only thing that could have made it easier on me is if you accepted American Express for the deposits and rental. If more folks from the US start coming to you, you may want to consider taking that as that is still the card of choice from most Yanks. All the best and best regards --
