"Good communication - timely and clear. Interesting location (access via the beach) made it even lovelier. Comfortable space. Got a lot of sun. Lovely basket of goodies when we arrived. Owner very helpful."

Staying at the beach house in Monaco was a real treat and our host was most attentive. We especially liked that the house was sunflooded at every time of the day. Beautiful walks into dusk. Jogging at dawn. Enjoyed everything and will recommend this accomodation.

Yes, to let you know we really enjoyed our stay at Monaco Haven. It was the view that scored with me, but the cottage was so chic and clean and this we truly appreciated. Absolutely counted when we just needed a weekend to chill out. We would have found an enlarged street map of the whole Nelson, Richmond, Stoke area helpful to have on hand. Don't know when we will be back to Nelson, but I've kept the details!

Dear Peta Jane,we much enjoyed our visit, managing to escape the worst of the weather around the country. We also hit the tides right and much enjoyed watching all the birdlife on the mudflats.Nice touch with the basket of goodies, digestives being a favourite!

This place was very relaxing and great for our family of three. Our baby girl was able to crawl, etc without any worries, we enjoyed the lovely garden and the beach. The tide coming in and out was lovely to see. A small simple batch that is just perfect for a couple or small family. The owner is also very nice . We also loved the location, both a short drive to the airport and city.

Lovely Bach right on the beach. Stunning views and beautifully appointed inside. Perfect location, close to the city activities whilst also having the feel of your own private haven. Great coffee cart and restaurant within walking distance mean you don't actually have to leve Monaco if you want to escape from it all. Highly recommend.

We loved the cleanliness and the location of the property. Only thing we noted would some kind of shade on the balcony would be beneficial as it was so hot when we stayed. Steve and Fiona were fantastic hosts and we had a fantastic time. Definitely would recommend this property very highly for someone looking for accommodation in Nelson

Wonderful location - handy to the whole Nelson/Richmond/Waimea Valley area. Fabulous views, constantly changing as the tides go in and out and the birds come and go with them. Lovely to hear the high tide lapping just outside the bedroom window. Pleasant decor, very comfortable bed

We've just had the pleasure of staying at this property for the past 6 nights. The property itself is clean and comfortable, beautifully light with the sun streaming in all day. The hosts were absolutely lovely, they were so helpful and provided kayaks as well as great local advice. It was fun negotiating entry and exits with the tides but we were never cut off as there is access from the other side of the property. This place is a little piece of paradise and you cannot help but relax in such a beautiful environment. The only thing we would add that would be helpful would be some form of shade on the balcony as when it's hot, it's really hot but it would still be nice to sit outside being shaded a bit. Although this property is on the flight path to the airport, it adds to the ever changing scenery of the estuary and is not really a hindrance at all. We would certainly recommend staying at this property; we had such an enjoyable time.
