Moutere farm is the most jaw dropping home we’ve ever stayed in, the setting is stunning, views in every direction. The house is enormous and extremely well fitted out. Rooms are luxuriously furnished, very spacious and beds really comfy with high grade sheets etc. Loved the glass walled shower, like being outdoors! Pools and hot tub were immaculate and very well enjoyed, the grounds are enormous and the kids often disappeared off for hours exploring. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. It’s only 10 mins from all the restaurants in Mapua yet totally private with uninterrupted views of the hills in your own landscapes garden paradise. Outdoor seating areas aplenty to just relax and really switch off from the world. The house was immaculately clean and very well kitted out. Your communication was excellent. We have had a amazing holiday and will look out for this property to book again with you next year. Thank you.

We loved our stay at Moutere Farm. Such a beautiful property with breathtaking views. It contained everything we needed and loved the spacious rooms. Every single room had beautiful views. We utilised both the pool and the spa every day. We would definitely stay here again. We loved our stay!

Moutere Farm is a very special place, and perfect for family gatherings. Having a pool and spa was a luxurious bonus. It is a fairly out-of-the-way property - an aspect we loved about it, but it's advisable to plan your food/drink requirements and shop in advance, as nothing is 'popping' distance. Very easy check-in/check out. Fabulous home, very well-equipped and obviously loved by the family who own it

Dear Hosts, Re the property at 2138 Moutere Highway: We loved every minute of our stay at the magnificent property and enjoyed the surrounds, visiting a number of local wineries and galleries and the cafes and shops at Mapua. The comments below are just for your feedback, with absolutely NO complaints! We did not use the bath or the spa. We were a bit surprised to have an unexpected visitor on 2 days......the pool person....but obviously he explained what he was doing and that he would have to come back because of the length of time it would take to get the water level up sufficiently. And then he was checking something the following day. We did read your comments about the cat, but felt the need to phone because one was shadowing us all the time we were outside and miowing and clearly expecting to be fed. We left the cat food where we found it outside, in its container. We watered the big pots out on the paving, on several occasions. One of the doors in the butlers pantry, came off the rail, (with little pressure), but we left it rather than cause a further problem. We have taken our rubbish and recycling to dispose of at the local place. There wasn’t enough to put out on the designated day. We have left a few items of food in the fridge. We did manage to get both TVs fully functioning and put back the cords that a previous guest must have tried to use. Thanks so much. We would love to make a return visit. Sue Brann and Jane Booth.
Sue Brann and Jane Booth - Jan, 2019Hi Sue and Jane, Thank you and wonderful that you enjoyed your stay! It would be fantastic to host you again. All points noted. What you will find is what you would expect from the pictures. The property is magnificent and was a joy to stay at. I could write a book! Our stay couldn’t have been better and really it was a privilege to stay in such a beautiful property. We loved all the intrigue and beauty of the different garden spots, which we explored and enjoyed.
Susan Brann - Jan, 2019

Thank you again for having us stay the beautiful Moutere Farm. The place is absolutely breath taking! We were most impressed with the state of the house when we arrived. It had been immaculately cleaned which is quite some feat given its size and age. We had a fantastic stay. Thank you again.

Wonderful and very enjoyable house with amazing gardens. Great views from a hilltop. Even better than the photographs suggest. I hope I would have allocated more days to it. Our time at your house was a full 10.
Andres Cerisola - Feb, 2018
We had a wonderful stay at Moutere farm. There are fantastic views of the Western ranges and beautiful gardens to get lost in. The house is spacious and easily accommodated our extended family. The pool was warm and the outdoor living was great. A comfortable and relaxing stay

We loved the Moutere Farm stay, the property, and especially the gardens and views are absolutely spectacular. The house was very well equipped, with the only real issue being the lack of insulation/cooling upstairs. We realise our visit coincided with a bit of a heat wave but even in normal summer conditions the bedrooms must be pretty warm. Overall we were very grateful to have access to such a beautiful property, the owners have obviously poured a huge amount of love and attention into every detail. We couldn’t imagine a better place from which to explore the Nelson area and Able Tasman. Many thanks
Jane & Scott Eagles - Nov, -0001Hi Jane and Scott, Thanks for your feedback. Weather was exceptionally hot during your stay but we will look at getting fans in the upstairs bedrooms for the hot days. We are glad you enjoyed your stay in this beautiful property :-) The Team at Holiday NelsonHoliday Nelson
