The views here are enchanting with the sea framed perfectly by the lush foliage of the valley below.
It's a short walk to Nelson's best waterfront eateries & cafes, & both the beach & city centre are within walking distance or a short drive.
This home is ideal for 1 or 2 couples. We look forward to welcoming you to Sea Song!

The Master bedroom offers exceptional views & space with a Queen Bed.
Bedroom 2 offers a double bed in a cooler more private part of the home.
In the sunroom, a double sofa sleeper can be made (by early request).

The bathroom offers separate shower & bath, vanity basin. There is a separate toilet.
Inclusions
Sea Song will be presented with beds made, ready for your stay.
All utilities, linens & towels, use of all listed property amenities, pantry & sanitary basics, departure linen service & standard housekeeping up to 2.5 hours.
Extra charges will apply where additional cleaning, BBQ or oven cleaning or excessive rubbish disposal is required.

At Holiday Nelson we take a thorough approach toward cleanliness and hygiene practices for your and our families peace of mind... because nothing less will do.
All high contact, food preparation and hard wet surfaces are hygienically cleaned and sanitised and our linens are professionally laundered at 80ºC, with bed linens further ironed at 120ºC by one of New Zealand's leading laundry experts, leaving them crisp, clean & superbly comfortable!

Private Residence - Sea Song is a personal home, made available to guests on an occasional basis. This allows you access to a superb & well-equipped home with the trade-off that the owner may uitlise some of the storage areas for personal belongings.
Check-in & Check-out
Check-in is possible anytime after 2pm or from noon where the option of early check-in has been purchased.
Early check-in (12pm/noon and in some cases earlier) can usually be offered for an additional charge. Please request this at the time of booking or at least 24 hours prior to your arrival.
Check-out is to be completed by 10am on your day of departure unless ‘Late check-out’ has been purchased.

This is a very smart house with beautiful views. It was a perfect base for Nelson and the wider region. The house was extremely comfortable. By the end of the week I was tempted to ask the hosts to sell it!

Sea Song was absolutely gorgeous with stunning views. The house felt like a home as soon as we stepped through the door. The balcony provided beautiful views and watch the boats sail by. Not far to great restaurants and cafes by car. A great base in Nelson to tour around and see the sights.

Die Unterkunft ist etwas altmodisch und es sind viele alte Sachen drin. Die Küche ist viel besser ausgestattet als in den meisten anderen Unterkünften. Die Terrasse ist wunderbar und die Lage ausgesprochen schön. Für 2 Personen ist nur ein Bad und eine Toilette ausreichend, für vier Personen wäre das zu wenig. Der Preis ist trotzdem zu hoch, auch wenn man den Osterzuschlag berücksichtigen muss.

Stunning was my first word when I walked into this charming home. The views are incredible. I could have sat outside on the lovely patio and not moved for days. So peaceful. The home is walking distance to the city center and Tahunanui Beach. The gourmet kitchen is amazing! The home itself has so many old charming built ins and decorated to make you feel right at home. Wish my time permitted me to stay longer.

Great place! Our big car didn’t fit the driveway so it was tricky getting all the cases down all the steps to the property but always found a space to park. Beautiful views and places to relax of an evening within the house. Lovely x

Pretty good place overall. Enjoyed the views, neighborhood, and general house vibe. The bed wasn’t that comfortable though. I would have liked to leave the windows open some more but mosquitos were coming in. There wasn’t big screens in the windows. The house got a little warm and had a stale air smell. Nothing major but worth calling out.

We loved our mini break at Sea Song in the April school break. Such a fabulous spot with an amazing view (the narrow roads up to the hill are worth it!). The deck was amazing and we couldn't believe how quiet it was. The house was very clean and tidy and we had everything we needed close by. Easy to reach your destination by car - highly recommend as those hills are steep! and everything is fairly central. My only niggle was there wasn't a mirror and powerpoint close enough together to blowdry or straighten your hair. Louise and family

Kia Ora, We absolutely loved our stay at Sea View Cottage! It was well appointed, and super relaxing. We appreciated all of the little touches that made it feel like we were ‘home’. It was great having a quiet drink on the balcony while watching the sun set over the bay. The only downside was that our trip was too short! We very much look forward to stay again! Hello, Thanks you again for accommodating the date change due to lockdown in AKL. Sea Song was fantastic and the renovated deck meant taking in the sun each morning was a joy. My mother loved the house and the front bedroom. Great kitchen, facilities and location and sooooooo quiet. Only point worthy of note was the shower drained very slowly and on the first morning I noted the bathmat was soaked from overflow water exceeding the height of the shower sill. Not a major at all but might pay to check if there’s anything blocking the shower drainage. Amazing. Thanks Steve

Stylish cottage in a superb location- short walk to reserve/beach, Boat shed cafe (excellent food and coffee) and town/supermarket. Not to mention fantastic views over Nelson. This is a special find...very tastefully decorated and furnished; lovely art; beautiful gardens; wonderful big deck and spectacular view from living areas and main bedroom. Wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely return. (Note- If driving anything bigger than a small car I would suggest parking on the road as the drive way is tight.) This is the perfect place!! Very clean and tastefully put together, lovely art, amazing deck. We really liked all it offered and wished we could have stayed longer. Beautiful gardens were nice surprise too and the view is as magnificent as the picture indicates. Thank you to the host for sharing.

Great home with a homey comfortable feel. The deck is fantastic with beautiful views of the sea and lovely birds. Very close to the city center- only a 5 minute drive. I would recommend this home for your stay in Nelson. One tip- rent a small car- will make it easier to park in the tight spot.

Beautiful character property with great views from a large deck. House has everything you need including a large kitchen with great cooking facilities. Driveway is a little narrow but it’s only a short walk if you prefer to park on the road.

This home has amazing views, a fully stocked kitchen for cooking your own meals and is close to the city centre. Lovely design and decor and comfortable bed with great areas inside and out to relax. Sea Song is a lovely house in the north west of Nelson. It has a stunning view of the sea and is a short drive to the city centre. It's a lovely home and we were made to feel very welcome. Although we were unfortunate enough to have a rainy weekend, we were very fortunate to have it at Sea Song. Our family remarked many times over that it may have been raining - buy we were cosy, relaxing, catching up on reading while a storm raged outside. We're already planning another stay
