Sea Quest Apartment offers spacious, modern & comfortable sub-penthouse level living right on Nelson's prestigious waterfront - An easy walk to waterfront restaurants & a short drive to the Beach, City Centre or Airport. 

This apartment offers air-conditioning, secure garaging, elevator access, fully-equipped kitchen, balcony with outdoor dining setting & BBQ, comfortable beds & free WiFi.

Enjoy sweeping views over Tasman Bay, Nelson's beautiful harbour entrance & the activity of the port - a wonderful mix of sails, fishing & transport vessels.

Sea Quest Apartment will be presented with beds made, ready for your stay. 

All utilities, linens & towels, use of property amenities including air-conditioning, BBQ, WiFi, pantry & sanitary basics, departure linen service & standard housekeeping up to 3 hours will be included in your booking. Secure parking for 2 vehicles & elevator access to the apartment provided.

Extra charges apply where additional cleaning, BBQ or oven cleaning or excessive rubbish disposal is required.

Professional housekeeping & Linen Laundering

At Holiday Nelson we take a thorough, robust and uncompromised approach toward cleanliness and hygiene practices for your and our families peace of mind... because nothing less will do. 

All high contact, food preparation and hard wet surfaces are hygienically cleaned and sanitised and our linens are professionally laundered at 80ºC, with bed linens further ironed at 120ºC by one of New Zealand's leading laundry experts, leaving them crisp, clean & superbly comfortable!   

Booking Conditions & Notes

No party or venue use. No smoking inside or on balconies. No laundry on balconies. No pets. Please read our Terms & Conditions & Apartment Rules.  

Max. vehicle height for garage use is 2m.

The waterfront road is busy & all properties within this area are subject to some road & port noise. The apartment is elevated & has been well insulated & double glazed for your comfort. 

Please note that Security cameras have been installed in all the car parking areas, the entrance foyer (by the lifts) and the lift landing on each level. Camera footage is backed up to cloud storage and then deleted after a month.

Check-in Times

Check-in is possible anytime after 2pm (as specified in listing & arrival details) or from noon where the option of early check-in has been purchased.

Please try to arrive during business hours where possible (our team are available 7 days a week as late as 8pm).

Late arrivals are available on request for an additional charge of NZ$50.00.

Early check-in (12pm/noon and in some cases earlier) can usually be offered for an additional charge. Please request this at the time of booking or at least 24 hours prior to your arrival.

  • This is a fabulous place to stay in beautiful Nelson. I stayed two whole weeks with four family members & the apartment had everything we could wish for. We had barbecues on the terrace, in the evening sunshine - just heavenly. There are also two car park spaces in a secure ground floor parking garage, so the cars were kept cool and safe.   • Kia ora koutou, We had a great stay at Sea Quest, thank you. Apartment was in a good location for trips into the city or going out exploring, being on SH6. The ability to walk to several good cafe/restaurants was great. Our group of 5 retired or semi-retired friends/colleagues found the apartment had almost all the facilities/basic supplies we could want. Apartment was clean, with an adequate supply of good linen. The parking was a plus...having 2 spaces. Our meet and greet introduction to the apartment and facilities was also very good. We would strongly recommend the apartment for other travellers wanting a base for exploring the region for several days.

  • We really enjoyed our stay here, and would not hesitate to recommend this to others. It's so close to some great sea side eateries, and for us, an easy walk into the city when we wanted to. Secure parking was a key reason for us to book, and we were not disappointed. The apartment is exceptionally well appointed. We wanted for nothing. And the view from the balcony was better than the pictures. We spent a few nights dining on the balcony, and watching the sunset, rather than dining out - the view was that great.   • Hi Guys, Thanks for your email….and yes we had a great time. Nelson was fantastic and we had great family catch up. The apartment was a really good space for us …5 adults together for 10 days can be challenging even if we are all family. We cooked a couple of times, used the BBQ and all the facilities. Everything we needed was there. No complaints at all. The view and the balcony were very well used…!!   • We were extremely pleased with everything about Holiday Nelson's service, before and during out stay. You helped us arrange our long stay with the minimum of fuss, and even helped us move out of Sea Quest (formerly Seaside Luxury) to our next apartment in the Latitude 41 building. Apartment 34 was ideal for our purposes. It was in good condition and all the appliances worked fine. It had everything we needed, including a wok-style pan and a decent sized coffee press. The only kitchen things we picked up were a stir-fry spatula, a serrated knife, and chopsticks! (Believe me, that's nothing compared to what we've needed at some other places.) The initial kitchen, laundry and bathroom supplies got us off to a good start too. It was configured just right, and although there was a small amount of noise from the port it was high enough to minimize the road noise. The beds were comfortable and so was the rest of the furniture. We didn't actually use the BBQ, but were glad to have the option. The one small repair that we needed, to a light switch, was done promptly. We also made use of your recommendation of Hardy Cars for car rental, and that has worked out well too. If we return to Nelson in the future, your list will be the first place we look to find accommodations, and we will pass on this tip to friends.
