Anchorage View is a great place to stay for a holiday. It is a perfect home away from home with a great view and a stone’s throw away from all the amenities that Nelson offers. The place offers a certain feeling of warmth and comfort and wonderful feeling of hospitality. It was easy to find and also away from the noise and din. Definitely recommend it!

Hi, We had a lovely time at Nelson and the house we rented was really gorgeous and had everything we needed, and an added bonus of an exceptional view. My husband and my daughters were so comfy in the house we didn’t want to leave. Thanks so much

We had a lovely time in Nelson and really enjoyed our stay at Anchorage View. Would recommend both your good services and the accommodation. Only negative was the lack of SKY TV.

I can not say enough about this wonderful property. The attention to detail is noticeable in every area of the house--cleanliness, coffee and milk provided for our morning breakfast, and plenty of soft, warm towels in the bathroom. Of particular note, when we arrived, late at night after having taken the ferry from North Island to South, and then driven another 2 hours to Nelson, we found the house with lights on welcoming music playing. Once we selected bedrooms, having a soft robe to put on was simply wonderful. The views from the top floor while enjoying our morning coffee was just stunning. All I can say is 'WOW'. We never wanted to leave. Thank you all. You can be sure we will highly recommend your home to our friends. We do hope to visit again. Our very best regards, Bari, Brenda and Bronwyn

A delightful place to spend more time than just two days. We all loved the 'old' house features and the improvements too... Extremely comfortable beds and space available to spread out and enjoy relaxing times outside and in. Especially liked the upstairs retreat with fantastic views. Home furnishings , eclectic and interesting, demonstrating owners tastes and travels, excellent library wish we had more time to read. Thank you very much for such a welcoming place to depart from for our less comfortable, but exciting able Tasman walk.

Fantastic and very relaxing place to stay. Very central to the best areas of Nelson. Highly recommend a trip to Abel Tasman (wether walking, kayaking or sailing) also the Marlborough sounds was absolutely beautiful. For a relaxing weekend activity we recommend the paddle boarding at Tahuna Beach. And a big thanks for the muffins!
Nicole & Hendryk - Feb, 2015
The attention to detail was wonderful from the moment we walked in we were in comfort and impressed. We’d highly recommend a trip to Abel Tasman sailing from Nelson. Bridge Street Suter art gallery with its wonderful garden cafe for cake and The Lovely Queens garden for lunch. A 30 min walk to the centre of NZ is worth the viewing over the whole of Nelson city. The city Museum and cafe well worth a visit too.

From the moment we stepped foot inside we were impressed! We greatly appreciated the thoughtfulness and attention to detail as well as the kindness. i.e.freshly baked muffins on arrival and the waft of lavender as we walked in the door. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to our friends as a superb place to stay. I especially valued the presentation and the cleanliness-thank you so much -this is a beautiful place to be. PS. Recommend Harbour Lights Bristro-fabulous food! 10/10 just let them know you are booking from Anchorage View. Trip to Kaiteriteri and Abel Tasman a definite.
