Inclusions
The Lookout will be presented with beds made, ready for your stay.
All utilities, linens & towels, use of all listed property amenities, pantry & sanitary basics, departure linen service & standard housekeeping up to 1.5 hours will be included in your booking.
Extra charges will apply where additional cleaning, BBQ or oven cleaning or excessive rubbish disposal is required.

At Holiday Nelson we take a thorough approach toward cleanliness and hygiene practices for your and our families peace of mind... because nothing less will do.
All high contact, food preparation and hard wet surfaces are hygienically cleaned and sanitised and our linens are professionally laundered at 80ºC, with bed linens further ironed at 120ºC by one of New Zealand's leading laundry experts, leaving them crisp, clean & superbly comfortable!

This home is not suitable for young children. Please be aware that the home is located on the second level of the property & is accessed via stairs.
The owner's boat (not available to guests) occupies the carport area & the garage is reserved for owner storage. The laundry is located in the carport.
A single off-street carpark is available for guests. The carpark is parallel to the house & directly in front of the car-port & garage door.
Check-in & Check-out
Check-in is possible anytime after 2pm or from noon where the option of early check-in has been purchased.
Early check-in (12pm/noon and in some cases earlier) can usually be offered for an additional charge. Please request this at the time of booking or at least 24 hours prior to your arrival.
Check-out is to be completed by 10am on your day of departure unless ‘Late check-out’ has been purchased.

The Sprig & Fern bar & Milton Street takeaway & dairy are just a 5 min walk away. There is also a small Dairy on Milton Street.
Just 5 mins walk to Founders Heritage Park & McCashin's Hop Garden Cafe.
Just 15-20 mins walk to the City Centre.
Walking along the Centre of New Zealand trail - which starts at the bottom of the street on the right, which is signposted, will also get you to the swimming holes on the Maitai River!
A nice summertime day in the "hood" round trip would be hiking to the swimming holes via the Center of New Zealand trig-marker with a beer at the Sprig & Fern on the way back!

Beautiful hilltop location with amazing view in a lovely area - The Wood. Brilliant kitchen, with everything you need. A couple of good cafes nearby. Easy walk to The Centre of NZ. Thanks, we loved the house, has a great beach house vibe.

Sehr schöne Wohnung Wir haben hier die Tage über Weihnachten verbracht und haben die sehr gut ausgestattete Küche sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, das Bett sehr bequem und die Aussicht grandios. Bei unserem Aufenthalt blies der Wind stark vom Meer hinauf, so dass es nicht so gemütlich war, auf der Terrasse zu sitzen, dann ist das Sofa im Zimmer zu klein für zwei Personen. Vielleicht sollte über die Anbringung eines Windschutzes nachgedacht werden? Dann wäre auch ein Liegestuhl schön. Für das Wetter kann niemand etwas, daher trotzdem 5Sterne, da die Wohnung wirklich schön und sehr gut gelegen ist, man kann zu Fuß in die Stadt laufen, Wanderwege beginnen quasi am Haus und Nelson und Umgebung hat viel zu bieten. (Very nice apartment We spent the days here over Christmas and really enjoyed the very well-equipped kitchen. The apartment is very tastefully decorated, the bed is very comfortable and the view is magnificent. During our stay the wind was blowing strongly from the sea, so it wasn't that comfortable to sit on the terrace, then the sofa in the room is too small for two people. Maybe you should think about installing a windbreak? Then a deck chair would also be nice. Nobody can do anything about the weather, so it's still 5 stars because the apartment is really nice and very well located, you can walk into town, hiking trails basically start at the house and Nelson and the surrounding area has a lot to offer.)

We spent five nights here but felt at home on night one. the living space is fully equipped for a long-term stay. It is extremely clean with a beautiful view from the deck in a quiet neighborhood that is also walkable to downtown. Communication couldn't have been better. This is where we will stay the next time we are in Nelson. Again, thank you so much for such a great trip!

Wonderful spot! Beautiful views from above of the city. Beautiful birds at eye’s view in the trees. Perfect place to stay in Nelson. Lots of space- very nice wood dining table and comfortable furniture. Everything you could need in a kitchen for cooking. Nothing bad to say. It was a perfect place for us.

Great accommodation. From spring it’s like being in a leafy treehouse. Great views across to boulder bank and back towards the cathedral. Very clean and comfortable. A lovely spot, felt like a tree house! Very comfortable, clean and convenient.

What a beautiful place with fantastic views of Golden Bay! It had everything you would ever need for a vacation, or in my case, vacation with work. Everything is supplied to be self sufficient. The Kitchen is a chef's paradise! The bathroom is also great, shower is awesome, and love the heated towel rail. Bedroom is great with a marvelous view of downtown Nelson. Its literally 5 mins from downtown but seems a mile away from everything else. Quiet and luxurious! I would buy it!

A real home from home place to stay. The loft was exactly as described, very clean and had everything you might need. We enjoyed the location which was walking distance in to and around the city, with great cafe’s and eatery’s. Really appreciate being able to holiday with our dogs in Nelson, thank you we really enjoyed our break. We hope you will continue to except dogs again in the future so we can return.

This is a great little place in a great location with a great view! Walking distance to many things like the Miyazu Gardens, Founders Heritage Park and the local Sprig & Fern Tavern. It is also really close to the Atawhai Shared Pathway for bike riding. We also walked into the centre of town which was about 30 minutes. It has a good kitchen and bathroom with a place for everything and has a decent wardrobe and drawers in the bedroom. The description of 'The Nelson's Lookout' is very accurate. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend.

A Peaceful Haven A lovely place to stay. Great view of harbour. Very quiet street. If ordering a taxi be aware that there is an Iwa Road (this property) and an Iwa Street. About $12 into Nelson central. Highly recommend a stay here.

The highlights - wonderful comfy bed, lovely sunny deck, great little kitchen, walking distance to Sprig and Fern, a dairy and really good takeaways. It is a perfect size for one or two and has everything you need. Having full kitchen facilities and a washing machine ad drier was a selling point for me, especially staying for a month. Wonderful experience, a snap shot of living in a unique and beautiful home. We loved everything about this stay, it was a great experience, felt like we were living in a grown up tree house. Nestled in between the hills, with a lovely decking area for coffee or a glass of wine, whilst breathing in the panoramic views and fresh air.
