Property introduction
Walmer Apartment is a spacious self-contained apartment encompassing the upper floor of one of the most beautiful historic homes on the Nelson Waterfront. Crafted of beautiful New Zealand timbers in 1901 for the family of the City’s first Harbour Master, it occupies a spectacular waterfront position that exudes charm, warmth and the wonderful seaside ambience of this leafy and scenic waterfront area.
The upstairs and downstairs apartments are joined by a central stairway, but offer separate access, separate living (which includes a sunroom and living room), kitchen, bathroom and parking arrangements. The downstairs apartment is occupied by the property owners, a wonderful couple that take great pleasure in sharing this wonderful property and location with visitors to our sunny region.

December – March $180/night
April – May & October – November $170/night
June – September $160/night
All rates are quoted in New Zealand dollars. Rates are for 1 or 2 guests. Although there are two bedrooms use of the apartment is limited to 2 guests only. Tariffs include all services including local phone and broadband internet, full linen and standard cleaning upon departure. A minimum 20% deposit is required to secure your booking with the remainder payable at least 15 days prior to commencement of the stay. A bond is not required at this property. Payments can be accepted by bank transfer or credit card at a 3% surcharge. One night bookings are welcomed, but may be subject to a surcharge. Please note the apartment is not suitable for children. This is a no smoking property.

Location details
Just above the waterfront, surrounded by established gardens and the sea air. The ships are so close you feel as though you could reach out and touch them as they navigate the Harbour entrance. The beach is just 10 minutes walk, the city centre less than 2km.
