This house is absolutely beautiful. Very spacious and open and we all had plenty of room to move around each other. It has great amenities, and everything was tidy, clean and welcoming. Lovely beds! It is in an excellent location not far from Nelson town centre and has breathtaking views across Tasman Bay. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and would stay here again if we are in Nelson.

dear all the stay was perfect I was there for business with one of my colleague from HK I choose the apartment instead of the hotel, just to have the view I like to do work and when I arise my head, have a good panorama This was the case for your apartment The apartment is immaculate, all perfect We never had food at home only some light breakfast with fruit and biscuit The only thing I found tricky is to find the key to enter the house. Kia ora Holiday Nelson team, Honestly we had the most amazing stay at Above The Cut. The house surpassed site photos. The facilities were perfect and catered to all our needs, and some. It allowed us to have a wonderful early Christmas with family. Loved the location, waking up to those views, comfy beds, and layout. We would definitely come back if the chance arises. Hi team, We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Nelson and at Above the Cut - review as follows: Excellent location, close to the city and the beach with stunning views of the ocean from the open plan lounge, and out on the large deck. Spacious house, plenty of room for our family (with 2 teenage boys), well equipped with everything you need from the coffee machine to the huge TV! Easy check in and out, with great communication. It is a modern house with fantastic view and nice kitchen. Although it is located on the hill, it is very convenient to go shopping, just 5 mins drive to the supermarket. It has an absolutely fantastic view, a nice kitchen with a coffee machine and cooking facilities. One of the bedrooms can also view the sea. It is really a nice experience for us. We all love this house.

The beds were comfortable, the showers were great, and so was the lounge/dining setting. We loved the old turntable and records, stunning like the views from the deck! We have nothing that disappointed greatly however we can recommend the following would be useful: The bbq didn’t quite fire up like it should’ve, beach towels and coasters. The views are stunning and it was great to sit out on the deck in the sun (when it wasn't raining...) or sit inside and watch the many boats, windsurfers and kayakers make their way out of the harbour. Above the Cut was a “Cut Above” other Airbnbs I have stayed at. It was great to be left shower gel to use and the coffee machine was an unexpected surprise. The views were great and when not looking at them it was great to have Netflix and Apple TV. An Uber only costs $6:63 from city centre. The Holiday Nelson team were quick to communicate and answer questions. Thanks for an excellent stay.

This property suited our 8 adult (4 couples) group for the follow up relaxation after our 5 day Abel Tasman track. Stunning views, watching the boats and the tides, always something to see. Handy location to the city and restaurants and activities House was well appointed and had an easy layout for us, and the all important coffee machine. We made the most of relaxing on the deck watching the scenes on the water and the clouds, and the trails left by aircraft crisscrossing the blue sky. Loved our time here.

We had a great time at Above the cut. the expectations were high after reading the story and looking through the photos. But upon arrival those expectations were more than met. What an amazing place. We do realise we had the best weather you can wish for what made the amazing views superb. The layout of the house very good and very well suited for our traveling family of 6. Great BBQ a bit dark but ok who is using a BBQ early Sep. it is definitely a place we will consider if we come back to Nelson and also will tell our friends about. Stunning accommodation, great location wonderful hosts- stay if you can and you won’t regret it! The standard of accommodation far exceeded or expectations! Five of us came to stay in Nelson for a long weekend, and experience what Nelson had to offer - the food, the wine, the cycle track and some the local sights. The house was great for us. Big enough for us not to fall over each other, a well provisioned kitchen so that we could both eat in and out. And a stunning view.

Awesome stay thank you! Feedback reply as requested. But brief due to very busy time for us! Above the cut was wonderful as usual we loved how clean the windows/balustrades were given the view is a big part of the appeal in this home. Comfy beds great kitchen & loved the coffee machine! Downstairs was cold due to time of year and minimal heating downstairs this would have been perfectly fine had there been an extra blanket available but I couldn’t find a warm blanket only a cotton sheet like blanket. We ended up using the other bedroom downstairs for my daughter as it was windy during our stay and there was a tree scratching on the exterior of the west facing upstairs bedroom. Thank you for extending our stay two nights great to have your help with this Sara!

The location for this property is amazing. This is one AirBnB photos don't do it justice. The sunsets are worth the price of admission alone. Incredibly clean and well cared for property. The hot water cylinder died while we there and Rob and the team somehow managed to get it replaced in 12 hours - not easy to do in small town New Zealand. This is an wonderful place to spend a week in Nelson. I must have looked at 50 houses on line. This turned out even better than the lovely pictures! The house is perched in such a way that the entire living room/dining room/kitchen has an amazing view of the water, including lovely sunset views. Kitchen is modern and well appointed. Great Wifi, TV entertainment system. Best beds in our 3 month stay in NZ. Great bathroom/showers. Comfortable living room and even had a little office with desk downstairs. Only 5 minute drive to Nelson Centre or the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Easy parking. Reasonable price for this level of accommodation. Good communication from host management co. Fantastic choice! Hi Robert, Sara & Jarrod. We absolutely loved staying at the cut, stunning house, views and location! We were disappointed that we didn't have longer as we never got to Abel Tasman National Park, so there is every chance we'll be back & would certainly getting in contact with you guys again, thanks again for having us, it was "sweet as :-) " Would highly recommend this house, very neat and tidy and a spectacular view. Beautiful view. We watched the regatta the first night! Very clean, quiet neighborhood! We enjoyed our morning walks through the neighborhood and down by the waterfront. We could easily live in Nelson, so much to do!!! Lovely home, nicely equipped with appliances and spices. Thanks so much!!

A wonderful place to base yourself for adventures in the Nelson Malborough region. The property has stunning views out over the Bay and harbour. The house has great amenities and most of the basics are on hand for you to enjoy.

The hosts were kind enough to offer their place for our stay after our previous accommodations had cancelled. They were great about communicating with us and getting things straightened out before our visit. The property was beautiful and clean and the views of the ocean were amazing especially with their full length windows and spacious deck to enjoy.

Clean and stylish place. Location is decent, near city center and comes with the view of port Nelson. Lovely place to just chill and hang out with the family. Only point to take note for the elderly or people with very young children, you will need to climb a short flight of stairs with your luggage. The rooms are split into 2 levels as well. Thanks for hosting us, we enjoyed our stay

Wow , presentation, view, location & parking was excellent. Our bed and pillows were so comfy. I think there were different mattresses to choose from, - the in-laws had a firm bed and ours was softer mattress which we like. Wish it was our home..

Hello Sara Had a fantastic Easter in Nelson – wow what a great place and the prefect house to stay – felt very lucky to have chosen the right spot. My family approved !! Fantastic property - is so much better than the photos. Very Clean and tidy, has a large living space with breath taking views from a very generous balcony. Great outdoor entertaining area. Bedrooms and bath room very spacious. Close to town and walk ways , really steep climb but work the view. Absolutely loved our stay , sadly to leave

Dear Sara, As written earlier, we found the house very tidy and clean, all the equipment is above standard, the view is perfect and the location so closed to town. This is the kind of place I would consider to purchase if it was on sale. All the notice were clear appart the lounge heater that took us time to put on the right settings (found the instructions in the draw). Roof light in the master does not work as well as two lights above TV. Thanks for sharing this wonderfull place. Regards. Osl

Perfect location in Nelson with a beautiful view. Comfortable and private for two couples. The living space is stylish and large and has a great sound system and fab record collection! Loved it!

Thank you very much for being such a great host. We had an amazing time in this luxurious home - it was professionally run, extremely clean and well equiped. Thank you - Holiday Nelson's place is just amazing!!! Apart from stunning views from the lounge and the balcony, the location is probably one of the best in Nelson. The house is professionally run with lots of information and easy check-in process, it was extremely clean and is very luxurious with a well equipped kitchen. We stayed with 2 little kids and it was really safe. The house is on a steep hill, which made it a bit hard to go out with the pram, but easy to just take the car and drive to the centre of the town or the Tahunanui Beach Playground and Natureland. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay there again.
